This Old Dream

I should let this go. It doesn't seem to be helping me. Oh, but wait, I can't. It's who I am, and it lives inside of me day after day. As the melodies and lyric ideas course through my soul, I am able to capture some of them, and some them slip away.

A Volkswagon Camper Van, a camp fire on the beach, good friends, cold drinks, acoustic guitars, and the sea breeze at sunset, is the fantasy that dwells inside of me. There is a sense of freedom, being alive, happiness, a network of people willing to go to the end of the world with you.
