Confused

When I read the words I heard the music. When I heard the music I saw the words. There's a special place in my heart for written poetry. Years ago my sister Jodie wrote these words down on paper with probably no intention of it ever being heard. As my eyes raced across the page devouring every word, I wondered..... How can she say what I'm feeling? A special gift perhaps, to be able to explain emotions so unexplainable.
It's been years since this song was written. As it sat in a binder notebook just patiently waiting to emerge and shine it's light on the world. I didn't even have any intentions of filming this particular song.... I guess it was just time. Written more than 20 years ago, it is a reflection of our lives in our twenties, we had no idea where we were going, what we were doing, or how anything would turn out. In this particular moment, well, we were confused.
My daughter, my fan, my everything.... She helped me create and set up the entire set and filmed all of the video. She has become very good at this and I can see her creativity spilling out while she is filming. It is truly amazing. I could not create these videos without her help.
