Galveston (Summer Moon)

10 years ago now, we went to Galveston. This video is some early footage of my video shooting skills..... I know, it's pretty bad but I'm glad I captured this moment in time.
We needed this more than ever. We were so disconnected with each other and on the verge of a breakdown. A quick decision and we were off.
I'm not going to say it was easy but we were able to reconnect with each other in a way that would catapult our relationship to the next level. We walked the town, rode the ferry, shopped in the shops on the strand, ate good food, drank beer, watched fireworks and walked on the beach together.
It was a moment to reflect, plan and appreciate all we had been through.
